My First Wellness Invention: The World's First Cultural Spa

Since 2004, I have been working in the wellness industry. Sukko Spa is the first spa which I worked with as "General Manager" since pre-opening. Even I have worked for resort in Phuket and the Netherlands for many years, but the spa was so new for me at that time, especially day spa with the investment budget of 300 million baht or about USD 10 million, with the full integrative wellness facilities. Even I started involving in the stage which project was already launched. It wasn't too late for me to craft my idea along the business plan. The owners of the project are very passionate about wellness, and pride of our Thai heritage as I do. We were born in the land of legend and full of history, culture and wisdom passed through generations. That's what I started to design the concept of spa.  All our service concepts were inspired from the legend and customs since Sukhothai era: The First Capital of Thailand. We decided to train our team to act like they were in the period of Sukhothai by inviting the world-renowned Thai choreographer in designing our signature movement, greeting and ritual in our spa. If you noticed our uniform, it would be a very traditional style of dressing technique which were rare to see in present day. Moreover all our treatments are inspired from the Thai Traditional Medicine which passed downed from our ancestor. The concept of cultural spa doesn't stop at the service and treatment concept, but we decided to integrate the wellness and cultural activities into the guest's experience such as cooking class by picking up herb in the garden, Muay Thai Chai Ya (The Traditional Muay Thai) or Rue Sri Dat Ton ( The Thai Yoga) with our blood type cuisine.

The Pride of Thailand is mostly crafted and integrated in the program which you couldn't find elsewhere only in Sukko Spa: The World's First Cultural Spa. This is my first invention as the Spanovator.

I used to be invited to attend the National Innovative Agency to be a spokesperson about the innovation of wellness industry. You could see the presentation which I used to do from the link below:
