Some of the key findings as related to Thai Spa, and the part of the project that is looking to develop a Thai Spa Standard based on the World Class Spa Standard:

i.  Thai massage is considered as a service with a strong cultural identity and is able to increase customers wellnesS.

 ii. Difficulties to establish an image of seriousness and respectability because of ‘Thai erotic massage.

 iii. Positive attitude among people that experienced Thai Spa

iv. The discrepancy in service quality is great hindrance

v.  Improving Thai spa image can be pursued through qualification and training of the employees

vi. Price of Thai spa is too cheap in Germany

vii.Thai Certification and grading system could be revised (i.e. a three tier class system seen as confusing for the consumer – once the certification/grading has public acceptance, then look to introduce classes if volume dictates)

viii. Certification should be maintained year by year and it would be better if can be revoked at any time.

ix. Investing in promotion of Thai Spa Standard is crucial

ภารกิจเสร็จสิ้นในฐานะตัวแทนสมาคมสปาไทยครั้งแรกที่เดินทางไปต่างประเทศ ผมได้มีโอกาศเดินทางร่วมกับพี่ๆน้องๆเอเย่นต์ทัวร์ สมาคม ชมรมการท่องเที่ยวต่างๆรวมทั้งสื่อมวลชนไทยและ ที่ขาดไม่ได้คือเพื่อนๆชาวญี่ปุ่น ที่คอยต้อนรับเราเป็นอย่างดีในทุกสถานที่ที่เราไป สัมผัสได้ถึงความซาบซึ้งดีใจในการมาเยือนของพวกเราและความหวังที่จะได้การท่องเที่ยวกลับมาสู่ภาวะปรกติ จากที่หลายๆท่านได้ทราบญี่ปุ่นได้รับผลกระทบอันใหญ่หลวงจากแผ่นดินไหว ซึนามิและการแพร่ของสารกัมมนตภาพรังสีที่ผ่านมา ทำให้สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวต่างๆเงียบเหงาไปอย่างเห็นได้ชัด ทุกครั้งที่พวกเราไปเยือนผู้ที่ออกมาต้อนรับเราต่างเฝ้ามองเราด้วยแววตาแห่งความหวังที่จะเห็นการท่องเที่ยวของเขากลับไปเหมือนเดิม ตอนนี้เพื่อนญี่ปุ่นเราพร้อมต้อนรับพวกเรากลับไปอีกครั้งอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ ใครต้องการเที่ยวญี่ปุ่นแบบไม่ต้องเบียดเสียดแย่งคนอื่นเที่ยวก้อแนะนำมาช่วงนี้นะครับ... ถ้าใครสนใจอยากได้ข้อมูลการท่องเที่ยวในญี่ปุ่นเพิ่มก้อตรวจสอบได้นะครับ

Mission Completed for Japan Our Best Friend Familiarization Trip with Thailand Travel Agent Association

As the representative from Thai Spa Association, I have accomplished joining the familiarization trip with TTAA. This is the first mission which i have traveled abroad for Thai Spa Association. It's my pleasure to get to know lots of Thai travel agents, media and especially our Japanese friends. As we may know, the tourism in Japan has been significantly effected by the earthquake, Tsunami and radiation effect. From this trip, I was ensured that Japan is readily welcoming us back. I could see many of tourist attractions were more quiet than usual. Our Japanese friends from many cities and organizations were sincerely welcoming us with warmth and graciousness. I could feel they hope to get back to normal as soon as possible. This is the great time for us to visit Japan with less crowded people in some of the interesting attraction with safety. Spanovator is appointed to be the Standards and Practices Committee Chair of Thai Spa Association

Since 2011, Spanovator is official member of Thai Spa Association. And now is also appointed to be the Standards and Practice Committee Chair to coordinate for establishment and development of acceptable standards on the spa professional in line with acceptable international standards and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors.
